How a visit goes

  1. Diagnosis first

We measure and test before naming a problem, so you pay for the repair your system needs and not for guesses.

  2. Clear choices

You get a plain explanation of what failed, what the options are, and what each one costs before we start.

  3. Work you can check

After the job, we run the system, measure supply temperatures and airflow, and show you the results.

About us

A practical approach to heating and cooling

EliteCore HVAC Solutions works on homes in Culver City and the surrounding Westside and South Bay communities. The houses here vary a lot: older stucco bungalows with ducts in hot attics, hillside homes with more than one system, and condos where the condenser sits on the roof. The climate varies too, with mild days near the coast and much hotter afternoons inland, plus fall Santa Ana winds that can strain any system. We approach each call the same way. First we find out what is actually wrong, testing the electrical, refrigerant and airflow sides rather than guessing. Then we explain what we found in plain language and lay out the choices, whether that is a single part, a duct repair, or a conversation about replacement. When new equipment is on the table, we size it to your house and check rebate options based on the utility that serves your address. The decision is always yours.

FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see your question? Call (213) 463-7463 and we’ll talk it through.

What kinds of systems do you work on?

Central air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, wall and floor furnaces, and the ductwork that connects them.

My AC runs but the house will not cool. What should I do?

Check that the filter is clean and the thermostat is set to cool. If ice is visible on the lines, switch the system off and schedule a diagnosis.

Should I repair or replace my old system?

It depends on which part failed, how the rest of the system looks, and how often it has needed repairs. We explain both options so you can decide.

Are there rebates for heat pumps?

LADWP residential customers can apply for rebates on qualifying heat pumps after installation. Many homes outside the City of Los Angeles are served by Southern California Edison, so we confirm current offers for your address.

Can I still get the federal tax credit for a heat pump?

The federal 25C credit covered qualifying heat pumps placed in service before December 31, 2025. It is not available for new installations after that date.

Do new gas furnaces have to meet air quality rules?

Yes. South Coast AQMD Rule 1111 limits NOx emissions from new natural-gas furnaces in the region and is moving toward zero-emission requirements, so we check current dates before any replacement.

How often should my system be maintained?

Once a year works for most homes, ideally before the hot season for cooling. Systems that run heavily inland or sit idle near the coast both benefit from a regular check.
